My name is Matthias Mattsson. I am 37 years old and I have been a huge fan of the Eurovision Song Contest ever since I saw it on television the first time in 1978 when I was 8 years old. This interest has given me so much joy and fun during the years and has also given me a chance to discover artists and music from countries I didn’t think had any good music.
I have covered the Swedish preselection, Melodifestivalen, and the Eurovision Song Contest as a journalist for different media since 1992. I have also had the fantastic opportunity to be a member of the jury that selects the entries for Melodifestivalen which has been a great and fun work so far. As if this wasn’t enough I have also been the President of OGAE Sweden. OGAE is a European fan network for the Eurovision Song Contest.
When Im not listening to Euromusic Im working with Quailty assurance and verification in the IT & Finance industry in Stockholm.
